Ruined Farmer Trouble

As I recently finished harvesting my field the game gave me a link to hand over crops to the farmer but as I click it nothing happens. I am very new so I may be doing something wrong. If so sorry for wasting your time, but any help would be appreciated.

After you finish Harvesting you'll get your produce at the next reset...

So If you harvested today, you'll get them tomorrow

Farming is quite profitable. It is, I would say, the most profitable profession. Simply because a plough will not break for a long, long time. It mostly just uses stamina. Very rarely do you need to purchase any new tools.
