Grail Community Quest Help

Hello!
I'm pretty new to the game and am trying to finish the intro quests. I've run into an issue with Damatheus' Grail Community quest where I can't offer up a round to those in the tavern. When I enter the button is greyed out and says temporarily unavailable.
Is there a work around to this? Thanks in advance.
