Carpenter Workshop
Here is a list of items that can be made in the Carpenter Workshop. Feel free to add or correct information.
Production Cost
Product | Materials |
Cheese curdle | 10 Wood, 3 Leather Squares, 1 Steel Ounce |
Fishing rod | 3 Wool, 1 Shaft |
Shaft | 5 wood |
Bed | 25 wood |
Empty Barrel | 3 Wood, 1 Iron Bar |
The products needed for making a product should be of the same quality as the product that you want to make. For example, for making an Expert Fishing Rod you will need an Expert Shaft. Any other Shaft won't do.
Production units
These are the units needed for producing the products.
Product | Cheap | Normal | Expert | Master | Grand Master | Grail |
Cheese curdle | 2000 | 4000 | 6000 | 8000 | 10000 | 12000 |
Fishing rod | 400 | 800 | 1200 | 1600 | 2000 | 2400 |
Shaft | 100 | 200 | 300 | 400 | 500 | 600 |
Bed | 2000 | 4000 | 6000 | 8000 | 10000 | 12000 |
Empty Barrel | 200 | 400 | 600 | 800 | 1000 | 1200 |
Durability
Durability is equal to half of the units of production. The only exception being the bed, as the bed will stay forever!
Notes: A shaft can't be used as a weapon. It can however still be equipped but has no function.
Update: A shaft can now be turned into a weapon (staff) for 25 stamina, but still has no function as yet and does not lose durability.
The layout of this guide is based on JuliusV's guide on The Forgery, hope he doesn't mind.
Benefits
Bed: Gives you more stamina per day (doesnt work out of town). A Cheap bed gives 2 extra stamina, and it goes up two from there every step up.
normal - 4
expert - 6
Master - 8
Grand master - 10
Grail - 12

Re: Carpenter Workshop
Looks good. Needs some finishing touches though. I'll give yoyu a hand with the following:
Producing a bed costs 25 wood. Producing a Normal Bed will take 2000 stamina.

Re: Carpenter Workshop
Ah yes, sorry. I have completely forgot to add the bed! And numbers for other objects too I notice. Ack, forgot it was so incomplete. I will fix this when I am in town so I can see how much stamina each times takes to create as well as update prices.

Re: Carpenter Workshop
Expert shaft: 150 stamina. (So I guess a normal shaft would be 100).

Re: Carpenter Workshop
Cheap Cheese curdle costs 1000 stamina
Plus I think the price should go up, or I guess its a changing market, but this is my expenses to get the resourses so far:
Cheese Curdle
Item ............................... amt.............. price...........total
wood................................10................ 0.35............ 3.5
Leather sq..................... 3.................. 0.6...............1.8
Steel bar....................... 1................... 3.................. 3
stamina........................... 1000........... 0.0065...... 6.5
total 14.8
I based the stamina off of a 26 bronze wage for 40 stamina.
Plus I managed to buy a steel bar for less than what it can be made for. Thanks to generous people. Meaning that an average cost of a steel bar on the market is around 8 silver. So cheap curdles are around 18 to 20 silver.

Re: Carpenter Workshop
Labouring costs are not included in the price list. If you add 6,5 silver of labour on top of that price, you get a price of 19 silver, so I guess it's still pretty accurate.

Re: Carpenter Workshop
Ah silly me, of course. I was going to fast, noted that, then forgot it.

Re: Carpenter Workshop
I will soon update the guides. I've decided not to keep any prices, as with two towns I think it will vary much. Its not that hard to figure out yourself if you can check here for the material costs

Re: Carpenter Workshop
Anyone know the stamina cost of a barrel yet? With the brewery started in Camaar, I'm curious so I can stock up a bit.

Re: Carpenter Workshop
For reference.
(16:57:50) Lord_Arogandor: barrel? takes 100 units to complete. So 100 stamina for an unskilled carpenter.

Updated the first post to add the new information from the posts up until this point.

Re: Carpenter Workshop
I thought your cheesemaking skill might affect it?
I think you can fit more milk into better quality curdles?

Re: Carpenter Workshop
:S yeah, you will, or else Im going to get a rude shock when I produce my first batch from a Master curdle and the cheese production doesnt go up by all that much.

Re: Carpenter Workshop
Just got my first batch from my master curdle, 13 cheese
Anto, it's probably your skill level that gave you an extra cheese.

Re: Carpenter Workshop
well I got 11 from a cheap curdle, and he got 12 from a normal, and you get 13 from a master. Jeeze the amount of milk to make 2 extra cheese doesnt sound worth it by just looking at those numbers.

Re: Carpenter Workshop
Your cheese is ready! You have made 14 Smelly Cheeses. They have been placed in your food inventory. Your Cheesemaking Skill has been improved with 0.5%.
Idk Axel, my own batches I dont remember that way, have had a cheap curdle since i started here, 11 cheese has been my amount.
Although since you and I both have a master curdle now, it seems that thats random, since I got an extra 1 cheese than you did.
