Encountered him, sadly I crashed while I was writing my post so I lost the battle report to check how it went, but here is what I remember:

Adventurous Orc
Ouch!! - Page 2 M_17

Level:	13
Type:	Greenskin
Life:	150 (-50)
Initiative:	20 (-5)
Hitting:	40 (-10)
Damage:	15 - 20 (0 - -5)
Protection:	10 (0)
Weakness:

Brackets are my own and indicate the change. I'm not 100% on Hitting. It made a great difference for me as I managed to actually beat it. I lost 33 hp over it, but I did hire the Mercenary to help me out (Which makes a great difference, probably would have a lot less hp else as each hit can easily take 15 hp off me). Did get a bit lucky with dodging and getting hits in for that as well. For me personally, the Orc is now a good tough challenge, it appears, though I'm still going to need to up my stats a bit (That's not a bad thing).

I got 127 experience from him, and I also managed to scavenge 7 bronze from his pockets! Yay for loot Smile

With how the system currently works, for a mob you can easily encounter multiple times a day, I believe it's for the best. The second time I met him I took about twice as much damage, so he's still a challenge, at least for me Smile

But yeah, the upgraded version would have been nice if there was some way to avoid him, I think (Like only encountered in Mountains etc.)

So in other words, defeating he Orc is a novelty, and is not rewarding for the challenge. 127 exp and 7 bronze? I'll pass.

Yeah, expect for being able to be boost about your orc-slaying skills, it's probably best to avoid him if you don't have good stats to back you up. Maybe the rewards can receive a small boost, think various other mobs give close to 100 xp as well, and they are much easier in comparison.

The XP you gain is based on the mobs combat level and your own. Since I am a couple levels below the orc in combat level I'll probably gain around 150 xp if I killed it.

An extra 20-30 exp isn't worth depleting most of my life in defeating it when I could kill several other mobs that all give 100+ exp.
