This topic is related to the new changes that have anything to do with the battle.

- Initiative formule has been changed. The
initiative determes who starts the battle and how much faster you are
then your opponent. It should been more realistic now. No endless
hitting chances anymore for the fastest among us.

Speed:21.000
First Strike:9.000

*sad face*

Waiting for stamina so I can see the changes. I wonder how badly my speed will change battles Smile

1) Im suddenly meeting low-level mobs again instead of Angry Bears Sad

2) The table with your info is now no longer at the same height as the enemy's. Probably needs to go back where it was.

3) My Initiative seems off. Has the value also been altered?

4) My damage has been lowered to 1-2. That can't be right. It's like my skill doesn't affect it any more

My damage is also 1-2. I lost a significant amount of health to a lvl 2 spider before I gave up Razz. The spider hit more than me with 2-4.

On a side note, how do you raise speed?

I haven't seen any way to raise speed. I personally have +5 from Christmas and +15 from my Follower.

Try to read the Current Events on the main page of the Game. It is there to help you out. Smile
Monsters have been set on lvl 1 because I have to work in RL and this was the fasted solution. Due the low damage, nobody can handle a real monster.


2) The table with your info is now no longer at the same height as the enemy's. Probably needs to go back where it was.
Layout issue, will be fixed soon Smile Not a big deal.

The skill effects haven't been changed, the formule to calculate your speed/initiative has. I'll give more details soon (when i'm in weekend mode) Wink

This is a bug, should be solved by friday.

Could the new initiative code be explained now that combat has returned? I seem to be getting 2-3 attacks per round against a Bear (24 initiative versus 4 initiative), but it doesn't seem to be always the same (I got 4 attacks once too). Is there some chance-based stuff in?

Also, it seems Im meeting lower-level critters again. Before the code change, it was only Angry Bears.

With the new update for weaponry, I tried upgrading one of my expert shafts into a weapon, I got a staff. Does a shaft of any skill lvl still make an equal quality staff?

The quality of the weapon will determine the durability of the weapon, nothing else. It will not affect the damage or any other such things.

Durability of weapons do not decrease at this moment, but will somewhere in the future. We don't get any rewards for fighting yet anyway, so that's good to have Smile

I didn't think it did any damage yet. And I'm also not sure if they need full barding to fight.

They add damage, they however not always hit.
They don't need anything extra.

I was thinking that barding and such will just increase the protection.
I'm not planning to allow horses to die during combat, I think its a to big investment, no?

yea, if they died, no one would buy a second horse i dont think. they are so expensive as it is, its nice to see more use out of them Smile
