Preparing Soups

Requirements Before Preparing Soups
- Must have at least 25 skill in cooking.
- Must have read the book  "Livre de Potage". (600 Pages)
- Must have equipped a cauldron.

Preparing Soups
- Can only be done in the kitchen of your home in your town.
- Need Ingredients (Food) to prepare the soup.
- 10 stamina is required to prepare the soup. (Less as Cooking skill increases)

Soups
- 1 food ingredient makes 1 soup.
- They are treated as drinks, like milk and beer. (Only 5 drinks per day)
- Does not feed you and is only for extra stat gain.
- Each soup gives 0.04 skill.

Meat	Strength
Vegetables	Charisma
Fish	Intelligence
Egg	Bodybuilding
Cheese	Luck
Poultry	Agility
Potatoes	Endurance

Note :
- Cauldron's durability reduces by 1 point per ingredient used

can you make batches of soup? or is it really just 10 stamina per soup?


because then it might be worth it time to time. otherwise, doesn't seem worth all the extra trouble.

No, it's simply 10 stamina per soup. There is no purpose for soup other than improving your personal stats, like eating an extra meal when you're already full. Personally, I think it would worth the trouble, to raise your stats faster, but right now, by making soup, you are effectively throwing away half the value of the ingredient you had used.

What do different qualities cauldrons do?

Cauldrons are tools and not possessions, there is a loss of durability. So simply a higher quality cauldron has a higher durability.

Soup Update~
Spending 1 food ingredient to make soup will from now on result in 2
soups instead of 1. This should make soup more profitable and cheaper

Grape soup? thats going to end well xD

Can't make grape soup.  Have the option to make mushroom soup, which I think would raise your speed.  Mushrooms aren't in the game yet tho.

Erm, so soups have no reductions in stamina with increases in the cooking skill?

I'll edit this soon to add exactly how the cooking skill affects it (1 less stamina per 50 lvls). Gotta edit a few other things that have changed over time too.
