Still fishing?

If I've understood the guide correctly, fishing takes 40 minutes. I've had seven hours sleep while waiting for that 40 minutes to be up, and the move buttons are still greyed out.

And having posted that, I return to the game to see a link saying "the shore" rather than "travel", and all seems to be well.
There's no Event, but I seem to have acquired six fish.
Huh?

the event of you catching fish only appears after the 40 mins are up, and you then click on the shore button.

it will say how many fish you caught and how much skill you gained.

with the extra stamina from aro, i was able to catch 52 fish today... Razz

That's what I expected to happen, but it didn't. 40 mins, an hour.... no change, so I gave up and went to sleep.
There's still nothing in the events list.

That bit worked for me, as far as I remember it said something like that. But after the 40 minutes, nothing changed.

ok, over 40 mins later:

i logged in.
i clicked on the shore button from the left menu once.

my screen then said:

Fishing
Congratulations!
You managed to catch 26 Fish.
The fish has been placed in your food inventory.
It really was a nice relaxing moment at the water. You should do this more often! Your mood has been increased with 2 points!
Your Grand Master Fishing Rod's durability has been decreased with 10 points.
You gained 0.29 experience on your Fishing Skill.

Seems to be working fine on my end, what is your experience with it? Perhaps you double clicked on shore, and the screen refreshed so you missed the fishing event screen?

Anything's possible, I was very tired and just wanted the 40 min to be up. Kept waiting for the movement buttons to stop being grey, trying clicking on them, kept getting nothing.

The fishing code seems to work all normal. There was no event after fishing. I did add an event now when finishing fishing.
