Gatherers Event

I proposed an idea to Aridoto, and was advised to bring it forth here in public.

The idea was fairly simple, every few months have a large event for a few weeks or a month. During this time, people are encouraged to head out of town and gather wood, stone, iron, fish, herbs, or other goods. The town sets target goals for each item to be collected, and maybe even raises buy prices-Aridoto said this bit out loud, but it is a thought behind whole idea. This will hopefully cut down on field production a bit, so that we reduce our production in that field a bit to help even out supplies without simply dropping prices; as well as generate a bit of movement and activity even in quieter citizens. It will also help us reinforce shortages, stock up for future projects that may or may not arise, and possibly get a few more silver into everyones pocket.

The target amounts, followed by dropping to normal price when reached, also allows for a bit of budget control to not financially strain.

It could be a fun event, with people traveling in parties into the wilds and maybe some beer and festivities being passed around. There are several ways to expand it for added fun.
