What's up with horses

I've been wondering, why does breeding horses pay less than anything else?

Umm, I'm guessing Anto set the wage at .4 bpu cause I was out of town. Horses take a lot of money to start a work order for, and the town can't always afford it. At .5 bpu it costs the town 20 silver and at .4 bpu it costs 15 silver.

Horses are not a necessity for the town, so starting a work order for one is a lot just to make profit and provide those who want to raise their horse attitude with the ability to do so. But, if you're looking at working on horses just to raise your skill, it's a lot more effective to buy a horse. I bought two just to raise my skill fast ^_^

The reason it pays less is simply because:

a: we don't need them as much/the demand for them is less; and
b: because we have people who have offered to breed for these wages to help the town

Well I was just curious, I am not familiar with the government end of things. I saw pigs were still the same so I wondered. I'd still like to get a pig at some point to try it out, but I think breeding one is like 4th down my list of things to do.

yea, those pigs for breeding are the same pigs we been trying to get bred. its been weeks

no one has the skill to breed them i guess and make it worth their time

They all pay me .5 per unit anyway, it's just the field and stuff and healing up comes first.
