Leather shoes add +1 to your walking skill for each quality level (so you travel a bit faster than you do barefoot) and capes add +1 to your disguise skill for each quality level. Also blankets now help you heal outside town too - I guess you take them camping with you. The Tailor - Page 2 Sleep-027

The best pair of leather shoes don't even decrease your movement costs by 1%. A bit lame.

The best pair of leather shoes don't even decrease your movement costs by 1%. A bit lame.

The Walking, Swimming and Riding Skill increase the chance of having a movement reduction every move you perform on the map.

Wearing Grail Leather Shoes (which is the highest quality) will increase that chance with 6%. This means every step you make you will have an additional 6% chance of saving 1 stamina. This on top of your basic Walking Skill.

Ive updated the first post with the information up until this point.

However I have a question regards the wool cloak, - how does disguising benefit work, is it chance like the shoes? Or actually + 1 added to your disguising points?

The Cloak increases your Disguising Skill. A higher Disguising Skill increases the chance to enter & leave a town unnoticed.
Just like shoes, you need to actually wear them to profit from the Skill effects.

Note: At this moment, Disguising is only handy when you want to sneak out the town. Entering the town in disguise has no use at this moment and might even give you some bugs. I'll try to fix that ... soonish...

Saddle: Does what? Or is planned to do what I guess may be relevant. Do you need it to ride the horse? Does it give a bonus to riding skill? What?

Saddle gives a bonus on the riding skill. The bonus is higher depending on the quality.
