Day 1:
After hiring a burly looking fellow at the gate for a preposterous sum I have journeyed outside of Spero for the first time. After making our way east and finding nothing of note, we turned south until we came upon a respectable looking forest.

There we made camp. The fellow watched my back while I picked herbs. This is what I found.

Nettle: 2
Treated Bittergreen Petals: 2
Deadly Monkshade: 1
Willow Anther: 1
Moon Stone: 1
Vitalizing Gold Flower: 1
Having expended all of my energy, we returned to camp. I wonder what I will find tomorrow.

After a simple meal of bread, I looked spent the rest of the day searching for herbs.

You have spend 102 stamina on herbfinding.
You have found 3 herbs:
- 1 Nectar (uncommon).
- 1 Vitalizing Gold Flower (rare).
- 1 Nettle (common).
You gained 1.02 experience on your Herbalism Skill.

Nowhere near as successfully as yesterday. Perhaps I need to find a new location?

Today we packed up camp. I went out one last time for a search finding:
You have spend 72 stamina on herbfinding.
You have found 4 herbs:
- 2 Willow Anther (common).
- 1 Stoneflower (rare).
- 1 Mustard Seed (uncommon).
You gained 0.72 experience on your Herbalism Skill.

I then decided it would be best to head for home. With the taciturn Mercenary at my side we started out.

Only to be waylaid by a Giant spider. We felled the creature, the mercenary doing much more then I.
We started out for home again...

..Only to find a Giant Rat. This one the mercenary dispatched easily without my help but I felt myself better understanding his arts (level 2 combat ding!).

It is only then did we return home. I tipped him with a smile as he left my company.
