Url in chat shows wrongly

When entering an url in the chat, it shows like this in the edit line (taking the url of the chat itself as example)


However since :/ is a shortcut for one of the smileys, in the chat window it doesn't show as a hyperlink, but as a text with a smiley in the middle like this
