When I am in Spero (my home town), I must drag stuff from my inventory to my backpack to be able to cook! Sad

Can you please fix this folly, Aro? When in my kitchen, I should be able to access my resources from any storage container without having to use time on useless micro management. Mostly playing on mobile, it's even more of a hassle with the inventory management, because the icons are tiny, and I have to type in number of ingredients for each one.

Weight for traveling - OK. Loads and loads of micro management - kills the game. My two bronze.

I will see what I can do to make cooking more easy.

Stamina Penalty = rounded up ((Your current weight / Your maximum weight allowed) - 1) * 4)

So for each started 25% of your maximum weight you carry extra one additional stamina is required to move.

Examples:
1) Maximum weight allowed = 100 wgt, weight carried = 101 wgt = 1 stamina penalty.
2) Maximum weight allowed = 200 wgt, weight carried = 400 wgt = 4 stamina penalty.
3) Maximum weight allowed = 2,000 wgt, weight carried = 2,555 wgt = 2 stamina penalty.

I feel like having a higher max carrying weight gives too much room for the stamina penalty to increase. Having 2000 max will only give you a 4 stamina penalty at 4000 weight.

By lowering the increasement for each penalty from 25% to 33% but letting the penalty increase for every 200 you carry over your limit:
(((current / max) - 1) * (3 * ((current - max) / 200)))
This method would strike harder on players that can carry a lot to begin with and the little guy being less effected by this change

1) max 100 weight, 101 carried = 0.01 * (3 * 0.005) = 1 stamina penalty.
2) max 200 weight, 400 carried = 1 * (3 * 1) = 3 stamina penalty. (1 stamina decrease)
3) max 2000 weight, 2555 carried = 0.2775 * (3 * 2.775) = 3 stamina penalty. (1 stamina increase)
4) max 100 weight, 200 carried = 1 * (3 * 0.5) = 2 stamina penalty. (2 stamina decrease)

And strike very hard to those who wish test their limits:
5) max 2000 weight, 4000 carried = 1 * (3 * 10) = 30 stamina penalty. (26 stamina increase)

After trying to think of a better way this subject is difficult to crack (hint to the 5th example 30 stamina penalty is quite a lot)

The penalty you receive can be easily changed so I'm open to suggestions in that area.

My penalty calculation is probably not the best but I feel it's going in the right direction giving a bigger stamina penalty to bigger seekers but staying almost the same to the old calculation for new seekers.

I was trying to go for the workshops rework with the +1 unit / stamina for everything. Very beneficial for new seekers, very little to older seekers.
Meaning it would be more beneficial for new seekser to carry more while older seekers who could already carry 3, 5, 10 times as much getting hit harder by carrying more.

Weight: 6,951 / 315

You use 86 Stamina (1 base + 85 wgt penalty) to travel North
+ 0.002 experience on your Riding Skill, bringing it up to 97.58.

Hey is there anyway to put everything in your home box at once?

Can you, Lord Arogandor, update some help files about the carts? I've been looking for the breaking ratio, as a few people may like to look into it too, so we can calculate if they're worth making and/or buying.

So far, Carts and Travelbags do not lose any durability. I yet have to add this into the Realm.
When I do, I'll make sure to add transparent transport durability loss information.

Good to know, thanks for the response, and is this loss ratio open for discussion? Maybe in another topic?

The plan is to take durability once the Seeker arrives in a town. This is unaffected of the duration of the travel, but for the game it would be good to take the durability only once, and not each time the Seeker moves over a tile.

As for the amount of durability loss, that can be discussed as there are no decisions made yet.
So I'm happy to hear your suggestions Smile
