Strange. I found a baker's hat and it shows up in my inventory.

Don't know. Maybe something having to do with shields recently added? Just know its not there. Not like I'm really going to miss the cheap shield, but a bugs a bug.

Re: Realm Event: Spring is Coming
Some of the loots are not applying I think. I had a grail blessing event and it did not apply.
Re: Realm Event: Spring is Coming
I had something similar with the last event. I assumed I had clicked so early (4 minutes after the event started) that everything hadn't been put into place yet. But maybe something else is going on?Cpt_Coot wrote:Don't know. Maybe something having to do with shields recently added? Just know its not there. Re: Realm Event: Spring is Coming
The missing shields will be found back, this might be indeed because of they are "newly" added.
The Grail Blessing seem to work fine, maybe wait a few seconds after each attack? If the server is very busy, such things might happen, although it shouldn't. (you receive the blessing before you receive the event of the blessing).

Re: Realm Event: Spring is Coming
I just wanted to say Camaar is putting up a good fight. We had 3x the points on the board in the beginning, and now you've closed the gap to us having less than twice the points. If Apoc and I had our points removed, you would be winning.
Good show. The next event might be one to watch.

Re: Realm Event: Spring is Coming
God****it... I chugged my grail potions on the second day of the event, thinking that since they last 6 days and the event was supposed to last 7 days, they would end at the same time. It was announced that the event ends after Sunday's reset, so I thought I still had today... but I miscalculated, the potions ended at the reset, so I don't have their benefits today, and I lost my chance to use some stamina potions to grab a prize spot.
In the end, I wasted almost ten valuable grail potions (stat boosts and healing, and one stamina), six days' worth of stamina, and the most valuable among the few rewards I found is an expert fishing rod (worth maybe a few silver). And as always, my town was completely beaten.
Aside from the Halloween event, where I was at least able to secure a pretty good hat, every event so far has been tremendous waste of resources for me. Including the non-combat one, since I donated lots of foodstuff for that. I imagine it must be even more frustrating for those who don't even have decent stats to fight for the prize spots, since the normal contribution rewards are a joke.
I am so DONE with this game's events. Since my criticism is never listened to, I'll just save myself the stress and stop participating in them.

Re: Realm Event: Spring is Coming
i really liked the halloween event much better and the point system instead of having to beat someone else to get anything out of it. i feel thats more worth while also id like to say the bandits drop rate was stuipid low. i spent 4400 tokens and got 1 hat and a honour. and some fish and crabs lame

Re: Realm Event: Spring is Coming
There seems to be some confusion about the amount of prizes that will be given out. So I've listed them in a (hopefully clear way).
Prize #1: For the Seeker who did the most damage in the winning town.
Prize #2: For the Seeker who did the most damage in the losing town.
Prize #3: For the Seeker who did the second most damage in the winning town.
Prize #4: For the Seeker who did the second most damage in the losing town.
Prize #5: For the Seeker who did the most damage while having a combat level lower then 13 (at the end of the event) this is town un-affected.
Prize #6: For the Seeker who did the second most damage while having a combat level lower then 13 (at the end of the event) this is town un-affected.
Prize #7: A special prize for the Seeker who did the most damage and arrived this year (2016) this is town un-affected.
Notes:
- If by any chance you would get 2 prizes, you only receive the higher number prize, the other prize will be given to the Seeker next in line.
- The prizes might be given a couple days later then the winners are announced.

Re: Realm Event: Spring is Coming
Is it possible the next event could be more ladder instead of arbitrarily adversarial?
Instead of 'top 2 who did most damage', it could be something like:
Do 500 damage: tier 1 prize
Do 1k damage: tier 2 prize
Do 2k: tier 3
4k, then 8k, etc etc doubling the damage until a final extreme amount that only very few could obtain;
and make the prizes public beforehand, so people can choose whether they spend their time grinding it or just do something else.
The town vs town thing sounds nice but it isn't very fair, and the rewards is actually a negative reinforcement (if you dont do the damage you get something taken away), so it feels forced upon. In the end, only the 7 prize winners will end up feeling satisfied with the event, as good as it was.
Just a thought.

Re: Realm Event: Spring is Coming
There are a few things to help offset costs and encourage more reward for participation. As Anto says, a tiered reward system for everyone would guarantee access to goals and rewards for everyone, even if such rewards would have to be lesser than the current competitive one to prevent oversaturation of super items. However, then you could have each damage leader of each town get a champion reward for the most damage-which would of course skew participation when some people are far and head of others but would encourage more people to seek it.
Alongside that, I'm sure many people-myself included-would happily do some math for you before each event and calculate just how much "potential income" is lost participating in each event. This math could then allow you a baseline to determine higher drops so that people who participate actually get nice rewards, even if it's mostly just some spare pocket change each round. Such events can really slow down development due to costs, but having a higher reward just for spending stamina to counteract that would be nice.

Re: Realm Event: Spring is Coming
The "Spring is Coming" event ended yesterday and the bandits fled back to their lands in the frozen north.
Congratulations to Spero who managed to deal a total of 276,873 damage. Special applaud for Apoclypze, Helfdane and anto_capone. Together they took more then half of the damage for their part. This year Camaar prepared very well and pulled of some serious damage as well. Special applaud for Kohana who did a lot of effort to keep her citizens motivated. The Town Treasury can easily handle the loss of three gold and thus, no workshops were destroyed this year!
Although there were many participants during the event we picked out the winners from the different categories and listed them here. Congratulations to you all, your prize will be sent to you within a few days!
Prize #1: Apoclypze with 79,201 Damage.
Prize #2: Helfdane with 44,835 Damage.
Prize #3: Kohana with 37,011 Damage.
Prize #4: Harold with 20,247 Damage.
Prize #5: Mena with 20,639 Damage.
Prize #6: daradle with 18,333 Damage.
Prize #7: Hadrian width 3,780 Damage.
Thank you all for participating and stay tuned for our annual Easter Event!

That's what I was wondering, lol. I'm pretty sure I don't belong among the prize recipients.
