Potions!
As one of the main suppliers of potions, and having difficulty keeping enough potions for the market I think I need to specialise on one level for each potion. Ie making all expert health, all cheap cheese ones, etc. But to do that, I need to know from those the use potions which they find the most effective for them.
So when I used to use cheese potions myself I found that drinking a cheap cheese potion nearly always made my cheese mature by the next day. But I havent used them in a while, so I want to know what works for those that do? Can I get away with making just cheap cheese potions? Or should I make a higher quality?
Same with Healing potions, which one is the one you want to use the most? Expert? Grand Master?
And so on for fishing, joy, pig boosting, intelligence, stamina, strength, agility.

I also may need some souls to buy the potions and experiment with them and get back to me on what they feel is the best one for the job it does :)so your feedback will be appreciated, if you decide to try the different types, specially the fishing one. Since I am trying to keep the stocks up on the market, I cant get out of town and experiment myself.

Re: Potions!
I've had experience with almost all kinds of potions.
As for cheese potions, I have never had cheese potion destroy my batch, and I've used at least 20-30 potions for them. A good number of those were cheap ones, so from my experience they work just as well. But the idea of the different qualities of cheese potions is high qualities have a higher chance of working. I'd probably still recommend making at least normal ones, cause ruining a batch would suck quite a bit.
For health potions, master and grand master potions are probably the best. Usually grail ones you would waste a tiny bit,
For all stat potions, str, int, agi, normal is the only one I'd recommend. Each quality of potion adds a day to the potions effectiveness, cheap only being effective 1 day. So really it comes down to how many potions someone wants in their system at once. Since you can only drink 5 drinks a day, if you want to raise your skill to 100, you need normal potions, 5 for the first day that are still active the second day when you drink another 5. There are only a few good uses of stat potions though, so its probably best to make these on order only.
Pig boosting potions, I've only had one experience with, that was last night actually lol. I used a cheap one and it worked for one piggy and exploded the other. I'd have to do more testing, but I'm pretty certain I won't be buying any less than master quality again.
Joy potions, GM, I believe, raise your mood up a whole level, 100 points, I can't remember how much grail ones do, but its probably best to just make grail joy potions to maximize efficiency.
Stamina potions, right now I'd only recommend grail ones, again just to maximize the efficiency. However, you may want to only make these on special order only as well. Also, since currently tokens of lately have been able to be purchased for 15 each, you may want to consider whether or not you can make them more cheaply than the grail reward for them. Since the reward costs 150 tokens, unless you can make them and sell them more cheaply than 2250 b, I wouldn't do them at all.
And fishing potions... I've had no experience with these, sorry
ETA: Left out stamina potions

Re: Potions!
Thanks Axel :)I knew there had to be someone out there that had done their work on potions, I usually only just get to make them.
I can still only make GM potions for now, as Im about equal in skill with blacksmithing, but that will be handy for when I am too.

Re: Potions!
Grand master pig potions are expensive to make and then I have to sell them for almost 8 silver, is it worth it to pig farmers?

Re: Potions!
The pig boosting potions could definitely be worth the money. Its more efficient the more pigs you have, so if you have 5 pigs, the potions would do 5x more than with 1. Its harder here in Spero, because we rarely get pigs bred. Mostly its because few players have enough skill in pig attitude to breed more than 1 unit at a time, I'll probably consider raising the wage paid for pig breeding in the near future.

Re: Potions!
200 stamina for 9.35... not worth it, only in the case of an emergency! Stamina potions would definitely be my choice, if they were nearly worth it... Perhaps I'd pay 5 regularly for those Grail bastards!
But ofc they would mean loss for Airy or other grail potion makerz

Re: Potions!
you would need to make almost 5 bronze per stam to make it worth it....using labour i get about halfway thanks to greedy axel (at max skill its 5S per 200 stam) or the big units in camaar 4S (50 each times 1 silver)
