Field Upgrades

I think wheat and corn are level 3, while all else is still level 1.

Would like to upgrade everything to level 3, but trying to gather the materials needed is taking months and months. Any ideas?

Yea, was asking Spero what their ideas were, what they would like to do.

I'm more a caretaker than anything, way I see it, all the towns money belongs to everyone in Spero.

Some stuff we do just fo 'hell of it', like building a jail that I hope never gets used; but stuff like field upgrades we've been trying to do unsuccessfully for months.

I typically don't import unless there is significant difference in price. Typically, everything is cheaper in Spero, and our wages are higher. I do go to Camaar all the time, and occasionally grab some surplus of theirs for my own trade.

I could do that with some of the towns money first, but to me that is exporting cash, which I don't like to do.

My Opinion is
> Get wheat to Lvl 5
> Then raise Potato & Vegetable to lvl 5
> Lastly Hops to Lvl 3

As Aro said, We can change ask citizens to change the Crop when we try to raise a certain culture.

Well bread is in surplus right now, so producing more wheat isn't really helpful right now, not to mention its pretty pricey in Camaar and rarely on the market here, so it would be difficult to upgrade it. But, that's about the same as every other field produce. Potatoes and vegetable meals are very hard to come by, as someone who would like to eat potatoes and vegetables much more often I think we should increase production of the two.

I think the only way to gain enough of either food is to publicly hire vegetable and potato farmers on the grail announcements or forums. You can offer to buy and/or trade with them. I have a couple ideas on what to trade if you're interested.

Jill and I alone can probably gather enough potatoes once I switch, which won't be for another cycle.

We'll get everything to level 3 and go from there. Taking wheat to level 4 alone costs 300 wheat and 75 silver I think, I'd rather let every field have equal opportunity.

I got wheat on the market. If the town decided to upgrade a field, I can lower my prices some.

One thing I don't want to do, is tax the fields.

That seems counter-intuitive in an economy such as ours.


Please, if you have potatoes, veggies, or hops; sell them at a decent price and the town will buy them.

Hops might take awhile to gather materials for, so we might have to import some? idk:

haha, i just checked my inventory, and i have 72 hops in there. so we might not be far off, ill just donate those to the town.
