Gathering Information for the Workgroup
Hi, I was hoping people could help out on this. It's pretty basic, but perpetual economics. I don't want things that are transferred; like cash into chickens or goods into tools, but instead something like this:
Namely:
Money that enters the game:
1: Trading 10 grail tokens for 1 silver
2: New seekers free loot from Bandalf the Wise (can I get an exact basis amount plz aro? like if it is 20-30 bronze per day ect)
2: Athlos the Esquire = 10 bronze per day
Money that leaves the game:
1: Town Upgrades (money + goods)
2: Tools becoming destroyed
3: Potions used
4: Paying for followers, but not the tax
Resource gathering like mining, fishing, farming ect are more considered transfers of money from one form to another, but arguably they can be treated as stamina turned into goods; and for the same reason, potions and tools can arguably be treated as stamina conversion as well. Same with eating food, for these examples.

Re: Gathering Information for the Workgroup
You want to be specific to Money or also Goods? Because Tools and Potions used/destroyed don't cause any money to leave the game. Might be better to separate Goods and Money perhaps?

Good work Anto!
A few remarks.
- Money from Bandalf is between 15 & 25 bronze during a period of 50 days.
- There is an event that gives you sometimes extra bronze (between 20 & 40) if you have a good town reputation.
- I (as admin) give money gifts sometimes. I can stop doing this if this might be bad for our economy. I can stick to stamina & tokens.

ah yea, forgot about the random events!
i dont think giving people money is going to be too bad to the economy (unless you are giving our lots of gold lol)
my main concern is the money that leaves the game, if it is greater than the money that enters the game; in specific regards to field upgrades, should some time be between each upgrade ect so as to not cause any type of hyper inflation
Re: Gathering Information for the Workgroup
In the Grail Castle, you can see how much money (money as in money, so no goods, tokens, stamina or whatever) has entered or left the Grail World last day. Maybe this helps you also a little.
Re: Gathering Information for the Workgroup
Right now, I wouldn't worry so much about mudflation and market difficulties. Really the main issue would be to get the economic base developed and that's farms, ranches and shops working...
I'm still walking around mostly blind, but ya gotta learn the basics before you take a fork to the number crunching and work. =)
