The Town name

Hello everyone,

I have decided that Instead of just naming the town my self we could have a small discussions about what you would all like as names for the town ending in a vote. Lord Aro has informed me he wants the new name by Wednesday if we are going to change it, so this discussion will go until midnight Monday and then the vote will be started with a 24hour timer on Tuesday. I would appreciate any ideas for names you have. Please keep them tasteful.

My idea was Camaar.

In the past, before most of you were walking over this earth, there was another town. The ruins of that towwn are now vanished but the name still goes around.

Torquilstone.

Once i was mayor of that ancient town, which remains have been vanished true time.

Maybe we can honour the name by naming the new town Torquilstone.

There was a very beautiful and ancient town I heard ofthat went extinct : Solaine. = the name meant town of sunlight.
Certainly something to indicate our lovely town.

i think we should call the town Thebe after the ancient greek town with the nine gates

I think the town should be named whatever the other town is named, for the lulz

It's the first town of this world...maybe we should honour our Lordship himself in naming the village...

Gandor village?

And if that doesn't work, how about:

Nogwaria? (scratch that )

Well i like the name Hrabrost since it means Courage

I would would offer the name of Ur (Ur means light in ancient times and is still seen today Aurora)

I don't see why Hraborst needs a name, it already has one; Hraborst. Who says it needs a new name just because there's a new town? I can't seen any sense in changing the name just because there's a new town.

I think it's cause no one had control over the towns name before, now people do

Don't really know how you all are going to pick one out since everyone so far has a different idea. and none of them are really awful neither

I feel the town needs a new name and that the people who are going to live in the town should have the choice of the name. The name i Picked was the name of a fishing village in one of the books i read. I figured it was a good choice because we are the closest to the water if i am not mistaken Unless aro moved us

And just to throw my little bit into the mix, Maresol... which broken up is Mare (sea) e Sol (sun).

I too don't see any need to change the name, but will cast a vote for which ever one strikes my fancy.

By the way, where the heck is our mine now? Anyone found it?

The iron mine is adjacent to the abandoned town directly north of here, it's closer than the old mine.

The coal mine is far east, north of the new town.

Actually I've been doing a lot a iron mining lately so am kind of glad we got the iron mine. Probably end up importing most of our coal now.
