Serenity's Bakery Empty Serenity's Bakery

Post by Guest Sat Oct 31, 2009 4:07 pm

Serenity has been working hard since the two towns merged, to create a little spot to get some fresh baked goods or a delicious meal, and to be able to sit down and meet people.

Always working, there is a constant scent of fresh bread and other delicious pastries wafting through the air, and the air around the bakery.

There are little tables and chairs, all can be pushed together if a large crowd were to arrive. The atmosphere is very soothing and welcoming, from the warm pies sitting on display, to the comfy chairs and friendly decor.

She hangs a sign on the front door that says 'Open'. As the bread bakes, she sweeps the floor, waiting for customers, and hoping for more wood to come in so that she may continue to bake.

Richy came upon Serenity's Fresh Bakery and walked inside seeing Serenity doing some work. Richy walked over to her while looking around at all the effortshe put into building and cleaning the place up. Hey Serenity, I love your bakery. How are you ? Asked Richy curiously.

"Hello Richy, it is good to see you. Feel free to have a seat and relax."

She motions to the chairs around them.

"And thank you, it has been a great deal of work, but I think it was well worth it. And I am doing very well. I do pray that you are well?"

Serenity puts the broom away after sweeping the dust out the door, and away from the entrance.

"May I get you anything?"

Richy accepted Serenity's offer to take a seat and that is exactly was Richy did as he seated. Indeed, I have been doing great with myself. Just up late making clothing for some of the grail seekers and for new guest. My Weaving shop which is called "The Great Weavers Super Store of The Grails" is still in construction but should open very very very soon but there are only two weavers in all of the lands which are you and I sadly but that means we have more business for us. I am looking for another weaver and as you are the other only weaver, would you like to weave clothing and perhaps we can be like partners instead of you just being an employee for the store. No Thank You, I would not like anything.

"Richy, I am afraid I will have to deny your proposal. I have worked on my bakery, and I intend to stay with it. Baking is my profession, I am a clothier on the side. I do that with my spare time and energy."

Serenity says to him kindly as she goes to take the bread out from her oven.

Serenity's Bakery Empty A Bad day

Post by Lord Arogandor Fri Nov 06, 2009 2:00 pm

*While the Seekers are having a nice and intresting conversation Lord Arogandor enters the bakery*

"Good day to you all,

This night Udgar managed to enter the Grail Bakery. Good thing everybody was asleep cause Udgar was on a rampage! It ate the entire bread supply for 5 months!
Sooh I'm here to buy some breads of you my lovely Seekers. Oh and I will need some Seekers to carry the breads to my Grail Monastery. Usually Udgar would carry those breads for me, but it feels sick today....not that I trust it with bread ever again!

So who wants to join me on this glorious quest to bring bread to the Grail Monastery?"

OOC: This can be considered as a Ingame quest aswell!
- Travel together with Lord Arogandor to the Grail Monastery.
- Bring at least 20 breads with you.
- Sell the breads to the Grail Monastery.

a young women walked trough the streets of Habrost, this was the 3th city she lived in and she didn't yet knew the way. As always she was carrying her teddy with her, in her belt. It was given to her by her hero for her protection and she would never give it away.
When she passes the bakery the sweet smells come to her and she can not resist entering. Inside she sees 2 people she had never seen before and introduces herself a little bit shy.

Hello, I'm Nienke.
I believe I have never met you before?
Nice bakery you have!

Then she notices Lord arogandor and she blushes a bit for not noticing him before.

Hey aro, nice to see you again

Serenity smiles as her love walks in.

"Aro, I would be more than happy to join you! If I could get some wood I could bake fresh bread for you as well."

She cuts up a loaf of bread and spreads butter on it, handing a slice to everyone in the bakery.

"And hello Nienke. It is a pleasure to meet you! I do hope you will enjoy some bread and make yourself comfortable. Your bear is awfully cute."

Serenity smiles.

"My name is Serenity. And I am so happy that you enjoy the bread!"

A warm glow comes across her face. She takes much pride in her work, putting a lot of time into everything she does.

"And I assure you, I am not evil."

*Lord Arogandor tries to remove the butter from the bread without anybody notices. Unfortunatly he only can do this using his hands.*

"Aaaah M'lady Nienke and M'lady Serenity it is good to see you both again!"

*Lord Arogandor gives a hand to Nienke and Serenity and tries to remove as much butter he can from his hand while shaking the lovely hands of the girls*

"You wouldn't mind come with me for a few days? The Monastery is out of bread! Serenity I need a lot of bread and I need at least 4 people who help me carry your breads to the Grail Monastery."

Nienke smiles to Serenity when she assures her she is not evil.

If you were evil I think you wouldn't have given me the bread, would you?

When she was done shaking aro's hand she wonders how her hand came all sticky with butter. Without saying something of it she cleans her hand on her clothes.

I'd like to help too.

*Lord Arogandor sighs as he has to explain everything over again. He also decides not to shake hands as all the butter seems to be removed already*

"Greetings Brown,
I need some citizens for a task. I'm sure you understand. They will be safe and rewarded for their efforts. "

*Lord Arogandor smells*

Serenity smiles and rinses her hands off in the sink, then brings Aro the largest loaf she has.

"I'm afraid this is my last batch until I am able to buy more wood from the market. There is flour to spare...but no wood."

Serenity frowns.

"I do enjoy baking much more than I do making eggs."

She looks up at Aro.

"When do you leave for the Monastery M'lord?"

"Well, when you are ready to leave, but you happen to not have enough seekers to come with you, perhaps you could acquire the wood and flour for me to just make you more bread there?"

Serenity suggests.

*Lord Arogandor looks at the big stockpiles of bread in the back of the Bakery*

"My dear lady I don't think you have to do that. I'm sure that the prices of the bread in the monastery will be higher then here, so actually you can make some profit with selling the town stockpiles in the monastery.
And our bakery is a mess anyway so it can't be used for quite a while 🇳🇴 "
