B=Bronze
S=Silver
G=Gold
100 bronze is 1 silver
100 silver is 1 gold
10,000 bronze is 1 gold

Ore melter

A overall easy job,the only problem is the beginning cost,and hard to get materials
A ore melter melts ore,to make iron bars,since the lacking materials this job is usually combined with field work

calculations made with the assumption of 100 max stamina

100/5=20
each bar used 5 stamina with a melting skill of 1
each day a melter can make 20 bars,assuming the materials are there

20x100=2.000 iron ore
20x2=40 coal
one bar uses 100 iron ore,and 2 coal

2000x2=4.000
40x65=2.600
one iron ore currently costs 2 B
one coal currently costs 65 B

4000+2600=6600
speaks for itself,the combined costs of ore melting
to start melting somebody would need 66 S to start melting just one day

20 bars sell for 7.000 B,meaning 70 S
4 S is not a bad day pay

1 bar
100x2=200
2x65=130
200+130=330

1 bar sells at 3 S and 50 B at this moment
meaning 20 B profit each bar

in conclusion:ore melter is a well paid job,if you can get enough materials and enough money to start
Not recommended for starting players,and a ore melter should keep please contact to the town leader and market overseer
Also keeping contact with miners is good

jobs wages,calculations and such Empty Cheesemaking

Post by Brown on Sun Oct 11, 2009 4:23 pm

First off you need a curdle.

Then you need 30 milk. about 3 S 60B

After that you need to curdle the milk. You need 500 units done (depends on skill)

Day 1 101 stamina You have completed 164 units of the cheese process

Day 2 101 stamina You have completed 169 units of the cheese process

Day 3 You have invested 96 stamina to create cheese.

You have completed your cheese making proces now!

Then you need to wait 7 days after that and you can sell your cheese. The amount you get depends on the type of curdle you have. So a cheap curdle gets about 10 cheese.

Then you can sell for 55 B each so 55*10= 550 = 5 S 50B It all makes up.

I'm in recovery right now after an op, can you send me all the things you want to be moved around and deleted etc in a mail please and I'll get to it from there, thanks. Might take a week or so to get done, but I'll get on it.

Thanks.

Wood Chopping:

The axe has 1000 durability per level and costs around 10s per level.
You get 1 wood + 1*int(skill_level/10) per 20 stamina spent and the axe loses 10 durability.

So with a cheap axe, 50 skill you'll use the axe 1000/10 = 100 times, that'll sum 2000 stamina spent and gathered at least 600 woods, with a tool cost of 10s. Considering your average selling price is 10b each wood, you'll get 60s total, minus the initial axe cost, downing it to 50s profit, meaning a 2.5b/stamina wage. But each time you spend stamina on gathering there's a good chance you'll get hit by something, so a regen of 50+ is recommended to hold you up for long times in the forest.
